Like Keanu says a lot, Whoa. The Matrix is one of the most unique movies there is. I was totally blew away by it. I started watching it at 2 am, planning to stop halfway when I was tired, but from the first two minutes, the movie grabbed me by the ears and dragged me to sit on the floor in front of the TV until 4:30 am! And I had to work at 9 am the next day! All I could think of the next few days was, I HAVE GOTTA SEE IT AGAIN. and buy the tape too. The special effects alone were a great reason to see it, but the story and the acting are awesome. Carrie-Anne Moss, where have you been hiding all these years? You would beat out Cameron Diaz, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Drew Barrymore any day! Keanu, thanks a million for making another wonderfully thoughtful, well acted movie. Proves that you are truly one of a kind. Ohh Whew. I got to go to Blockbuster tomorrow and get it again. I cannot get it out of my mind, the exact same thing happened when I saw A Walk In The Clouds. Goes to show how wonderful Keanu is. I CANNOT WAIT to see the Matrix 2 and 3.

The plot started fairly normal (and no, I can"t be bothered writing it) but then took a huge (and well placed) twist. All I can say is that there are actually two worlds involved, The Matrix, which is the computer program that is meant to blind and keep humans under control from the real world, which is earth as it is in the future, ruled by giant robot squid thingies. The first time I saw it (the crossover to the real world) I was confused and frustrated because I wasn"t sure what the hell was going on. DON"T let this turn you away. If you stick with it and use your imagination, you"ll enjoy the best action movie EVER made (apart from T2) What everyone who"s seen this film liked the most were the combat scenes. Things like slow-motion Kung-Fu, Ju-Jit-Su, shooting and bullet dodging are all here. The classic point of this film is when Neo (Keanu Reeves) dodges all those bullets while leaning backwards. Sound familiar? Everyone knows that scene, like everyone knows Hugo Weaving"s classic line, Goodbye Mr. Anderson" Allover, this movie is a classic, and my favorite movie to date, combining an action, adventure, thriller and sci-fi in one. The acting is good as well, with Hugo Weaving doing a terrific and the most outstanding job as Agent Smith, Neo"s arch enemy. While Reloaded and Revolutions were good, The Matrix stands out as a revolutionary and refreshing concept and the best in the trilogy.
An absolute classic, 10/10. Definite purchase.

Awesome movie, no match for sci-fi story till now the story was beauty full made. reeves was super in acting i love the design of villain. and telephone thing in the movie.i love so much about this movie, i also watch all parts which are too good and like the all parts sci-fi thing is just mind blowing.
